2014 MAHA State ChampionshipsLast week, the Little Caesear's Michigan Amateur Hockey team (U-18 : 18 year olds...) won the state championship at the Taylor Sportsplex. LC was ranked really low, 24th I think in the league. They really upped their game beating both Belle Tire and Victory Honda - the one and two-ranked teams. These kids started the playoffs as underdogs, there to have fun and play their best. Nobody expected them to win. It just goes to show you what can be accomplished when you really put your heart into it. I know these kids did, and I was lucky enough to be there to see it.
